  Henry's success story
From Henry:
It's tough for me to believe that someone actually gave me away, but I feel really lucky that I'm in my forever home now. I can tell that my human is absolutely in love with me (you know how girls get!), and -- quite frankly -- I'm diggin' it. I have a 4-year-old "brother" (Finn); without fail, we wrestle every morning, and I'm finally confident enough now to claim stake to my own bones and toys. (Let's face it, sharing isn't all it's cracked up to be!) We redheads have quite the life. Mom works full-time, which means we get to go to dog daycare every weekday. The humans at daycare are all over me (geez!) and keep telling Mom that Finn and I are a "cinch" and have lots of four-legged pals. We spend our weekends on the beach or in the woods; man, oh man, it's such fun, but Mom said she's going to get my ears checked since I seem to become "selectively hard of hearing" during recall. (Mom's working on it and trying to keep it fun, but I say "Let's RUN! It's a great day for Irish Setters!) Anyway, I feel as though I've lived here for years. Mom tells me I'm a wonderfully well-behaved angel and that I have nothing to worry about... she says she's so grateful to have me here and keeps thanking "the unbelievable
Irish Setter Rescue crew." I'll never forget my rescue godmother, Paulette Peckol, who picked me up, took me to the vet, had me groomed, and dropped me gently (with tears in her eyes) into my current life. You were right, Paulette: I am perfect!
