They all brought us so much happiness and just left us much too quickly. May the shamrocks fall softly. These dogs just seem like they are all a big part of our family and some of them, only stayed with us being their foster parents for a few days..... May their sweet memories in time heal all of our pain.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the Chain will link again.
Footprints
The Lord will always walk with you along life's blessed beach, His footprints there beside your own, ever within reach. Two sets of footprints, side-by-side, from dawn to setting sun, yet there may come a day sometime when you'll see only one. But do not think the Lord has left you - Nothing could be more wrong. It's just that He has picked you up, to carry you along.
